Install the app

Install Qiskit Fall Fest 2026 @ Palermo as an app for quick access from your computer or mobile device.

The app stays up to date. Whenever you reconnect after an update, it loads the latest news and keeps them available offline.

Installation instructions

Chrome or Chromium
  • On Android, open the browser menu, select Install and create shortcut, then Install.
  • On desktop, click the install icon in the address bar, if available. Otherwise, open the browser menu, select Cast, save, and share, then Install page as app....
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

Microsoft Edge
  1. Open Settings and more.
  2. Select More tools, then Apps.
  3. Select Install this site as an app.
  4. Confirm the installation.

Firefox on Windows
  1. Click the web apps button in the address bar.
  2. Firefox installs the site as a web app and adds it to the Windows Start menu and taskbar.
  3. If prompted, click Yes to pin the app to the taskbar.

Web apps are supported in Firefox for Windows starting with Firefox 143, or Firefox 150 when Firefox is installed from the Microsoft Store.

Firefox for Android
  1. Open the browser menu.
  2. Select Add to Home screen, or the equivalent shortcut option shown by your version of Firefox.
  3. Confirm to add the shortcut. It opens the site in Firefox rather than as a separately installed Android app.
Opera on desktop
  1. Open the browser menu.
  2. Select Install app or Install page as app, if it is available.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Opera for Android
  1. Open the browser menu.
  2. Select Add to home screen, or the equivalent shortcut option shown by Opera.
  3. Confirm to add the shortcut. It opens the site in Opera rather than as a separately installed Android app.
Samsung Internet
  1. Open the browser menu.
  2. Select Add page to, then Home screen.
  3. Select Install when Samsung Internet offers installation, then confirm.
iPhone or iPad
  1. Open the browser's Share menu. In Safari, tap Share.
  2. Select Add to Home Screen.
  3. Turn on Open as Web App.
  4. Tap Add.

  1. In Safari, open the website.
  2. Choose File → Add to Dock, or click Share in the toolbar and select Add to Dock.
  3. Choose the app name, then click Add.

WebView or in-app browser

An embedded web view does not provide a standard PWA installation flow. Open this page in a full browser, such as Chrome, Samsung Internet, Safari, or another supported browser, then follow that browser's instructions. On iOS, an app-provided share sheet may expose Add to Home Screen only when the host app supports it.
