First steps with Qiskit

IBM Quantum Composer

To begin exploring quantum computing, use IBM Quantum Composer, a graphical tool for building and visualizing quantum circuits.

You can sign in with an IBM Cloud account. Depending on the options available to you, you may also be able to use an institutional or social sign-in.

Start with IBM Quantum Platform

IBM Quantum Platform provides access to Composer, learning resources, documentation, and quantum processing units. IBM Quantum Lab, which was used for cloud-hosted Jupyter notebooks during the 2023 event, is no longer part of the current platform.

The following video was prepared for the 2023 event and shows the platform workflow that was available at the time.

If you are comfortable with Python, you can install the Qiskit SDK on your computer by following the current installation guide.
